Glycerine Server supports access to the backend data model for integration with the institution’s digital asset and collections management infrastructure. All of Glycerine’s IIIF support, collection, and collaboration features can be accessed. Also includes Glycerine Image Server—a scalable, high-performance IIIF image server built on the Cantaloupe framework—which provides a controlled environment for resource access and management. Images can be managed via a Glycerine Image Server API and accessed via the IIIF Image API 3.0. Institutions may integrate Glycerine Server with their institutional digital asset management (DAM) system.
